When time permitted, the Albanian-Aid team would try to go door-to-door in order to try to raise more money. Although it was intimidating, we were committed to raising as much money as possible for our cause. Again, we met lots of community members who were excited to help our cause. Lots of people (most of them) did not know Albania was a country, and very few knew where it was located generally. It was a great opportunity to truly inform the people about a country that was deprived in healthcare and to inform about a condition so prevalent in the area. We were able to raise a fair amount of money from going door-to-door. Overall, we were able to spread awareness about Albania and the need for blood donations in this country.
